Wash Regularly
Did you know that bugs are acidic and any squashed insects will eat into your car’s clear coat? That could cause permanent – and sometimes expensive – damage to your vehicle. Do not let bugs sit on your car for very long. We highly suggest washing your car regularly to wash away any critter guts, bird droppings, and contaminants from the road.
Use a Ceramic Glaze Protectant
When you wash your car with Glint Car Wash, we don’t just use water and soap. Our Premiere package also features Ceramic Glaze that is designed to protect the paint job of any vehicle. It will add an extra layer of protection on top of your sparkling clean car.
If you have been using an automatic car wash that offers a ceramic coating like Glint Car Wash, then you are already on the right track because it has built up a ceramic seal that will help protect your paint job. Think of it as a barrier that will be the first line of defense for your clear coat.
If you aren’t already incorporating a ceramic coating to your vehicle’s surface, think about upgrading to a higher wash package.
Wash Quickly
If you aren’t washing regularly, make sure to wash quickly when you notice bugs, bird droppings, sap, dirt, etc. Bug debris can be just as damaging to a vehicle’s paint job as the road salt in the wintertime. It may seem harmless but that little bug can leave a permanent imprint. Quickly removing the bug residue before it has time to dry will help your car’s paint job last longer.
